I think there is a high possibility that the popularity of the Olympics will be lower than currently expected personally. None of us will know what the situation will be like in July 2021, but most of us agree that it will not be as spectacular as originally expected. People might move on to something else in these years. The Olympics have been struggling for years already, and COVID-19 might be the last straw.
